BERLINO (Reuters) – L’Oktoberfest tedesco, il festival più popolare al mondo per gli amanti della birra, è stato cancellato a causa dell’emergenza coronavirus.

Lo ha annunciato lo stato meridionale della Baviera.

Circa sei milioni di persone si recano ogni anno a Monaco per la festa di circa due settimane – allestita in tende con lunghi tavoli in legno dove bere birra e ascoltare musica tirolese – che frutta oltre 1 miliardo di euro alla città.

L’Oktoberfest di quest’anno era in programma dal 19 settembre al 4 ottobre.
