PRAGA (Reuters) – La Bce non espanderà automaticamente l’Asset Purchase Programme quando terminerà il programma di acquisto per l’emergenza pandemica (Pepp) da 1.850 miliardi di euro.

Lo ha detto Peter Kazimir, membro Bce e governatore della banca centrale slovacca, a Bloomberg.

Il Pepp dovrebbe terminare a marzo 2022 e gli investitori prevedono che la Bce intensifichi le altre misure di stimolo in quel momento.

“I timori sul ‘cliff effect’ non possono implicare automaticamente richieste di incremento dei programmi standard”, ha detto Kazimir in un’intervista a Bloomberg.

“Non c’è una formula automatica”, ha aggiunto. “Decideremo in base alle condizioni a tempo debito”.
